NewVantage to Host | Speak at Upcoming Fall 2013 Big Data Industry Executive Events

BOSTON, MA – NewVantage Partners has announced its participation in a series of upcoming speaking and executive thought-leadership events in the coming months:

  • September 19.  NewVantage Big Data Executive Thought Leadership Roundtable.  New York.   NewVantage will host its New York fall executive roundtable with senior business and technology leaders.  Participants in NewVantage Partners 2012-2013 New York roundtables included C-suite and senior business and technology executives representing American Express, Bank of New York Mellon, CitiGroup, JP Morgan, MetLife, Morgan Stanley, and Thomson Reuters, among others.
  • September 25.  NewVantage Big Data Executive Thought Leadership Roundtable.  Boston.   NewVantage will host its Boston fall executive roundtable with senior business and technology leaders.  Participants in NewVantage Partners 2012-2013 Boston roundtables included C-suite and senior business and technology executives representing Bank of America, Cigna, CVS Caremark, Fidelity Investments, The Hartford, Putnam Investments, State Street Bank, SunLife Financial, TIAA-CREF, Travelers, Wellington Financial, and WellPoint, among others.
  • October 2.  DataWeek 2013 Big Data Conference.  San Francisco.  Paul Barth will moderate a distinguished panel of Big Data executive experts on the topic “Using Big Data to Accelerate Time to Answer”.   The panel will be comprised of:

  • October 2.  NewVantage Big Data Executive Thought Leadership Roundtable.  San Francisco.   NewVantage will host its San Francisco fall executive roundtable with senior business and technology leaders.  Participants in NewVantage Partners 2012-2013 San Francisco roundtables included senior business and technology executives representing Charles Schwab, The Gap, US Bank, University of California Haas School of Business, and Wells Fargo Bank, among others.
  • October 22.  Information Week Big Data Conference.  Chicago.   Paul Barth will be a featured speaker at Information Weeks 2013 Big Data conference, a world-class event designed for business and technology professionals charged with developing their company’s big data strategies.
  • December 8-10.  CDM Big Data Summit.  Scottsdale.  Paul Barth is a member of the conference executive committee and will be a featured speaker at the CDM Big Data Summit.  Participants at the May 2013 summit in New York included chief data officers and executives with responsibility for big data initiatives for Fortune 1000 firms including AIG, Allstate, American Express, AXA Equitable, BBT, Capital One, CIT, CitiGroup, Chubb, General Electric, HSBC, KeyBank, MetLife, State Street Bank, and TD Ameritrade.

  • July 16.  MIT Chief Data Officer Forum.  Boston.  Paul Barth moderated a panel on “Refining the Roles and Responsibilities of the Chief Data Officer at the 3rd MIT Chief Data Officer Forum to be held at MIT on July 16.  NewVantage will serve on the executive program committee for the 2014 MIT Chief Data Officer Forum.
  • June 4.  The Atlantic.  Quartz.  Big Data Executive Roundtable Dinner.  Boston.  Randy Bean participated in a financial services executive roundtable dinner on the topic of big data with leading business leaders and financial journalists.  The roundtable dinner is sponsored by Quartz, a new digital global business publication from the publishers of The Atlantic.
  • May 22.  CIO Perspectives. San Francisco.  Paul Barth was a featured speaker on the topic “Using Big Data to Make Faster, Better Business Decisions”.  CIO Perspectives San Francisco is an exclusive, invitation-only gathering of San Francisco-area Fortune 1000 CIOs, sponsored by CIO Magazine.
  • May 21.  NewVantage Partners Life Sciences Big Data Executive Thought-Leadership Roundtable Breakfast. Boston.  Noted thought-leader, Harvard Business School Professor, and NewVantage advisory board member Tom Davenport joined NewVantage Partners healthcare practice leader Carl Ascenzo and leading healthcare executives for a discussion of big data in healthcare.
  • May 9-10.  CDM Big Data Summit.  New York.  Paul Barth spoke on the topic “Driving Big Data Business Value by Accelerating Time-to-Answer (TTA).  Participants at the CDM Big Data Summit included chief data officers and executives with responsibility for big data initiatives for Fortune 1000 firms including AIG, Allstate, American Express, AXA Equitable, BBT, Capital One, CIT, CitiGroup, Chubb, General Electric, HSBC, KeyBank, MetLife, State Street Bank, and TD Ameritrade.
  • April 30.  Nixon Peabody Big Data Panel.  Boston.  Paul Barth shared his thoughts on the future of big data, on metrics for evaluating big data, and reducing cost and time-to-answer in this video interview with Paul Barth and Nixon Peabody partner and big data practice leader Chris Keefe.
  • April 3.  NewVantage Partners Big Data Executive Thought-Leadership Roundtable.   Boston.  NewVantage hosted its Boston executive roundtable with senior business and technology leaders representing Bank of America, Cigna, Fidelity Investments, The Hartford, State Street Bank, SunLife Financial, TIAA-CREF, and Travelers, among others.
